In the first spot this week is a good article about the recovery off the offshore sector, good news indeed, still a bit slow but proud it is picking back up, behind that we have Odfjell with the abundance of new hires needed to fill upcoming backlog from some well managed negotiations, great to see people going to work here! In the number 3 spot we have the Bluewhale 1 grabbing up a contract for 1.5 years, good for the floater utilization, behind that we have Rowan getting the blessing from Saudi on their merge with Ensco, now you ask why Saudi, well Rowan has a lot of time wrapped up with Saudi Aramco with the announcement of last year’s deal with some of their rigs, so with 18 years of backlog with a customer you want to make sure you are in the good. In the last spot we have Shelf in the news again as they ink up work for the High Island V.
