Rig Lynx Monthly Rundown – Top 5 for AugustMarket
WTI is sitting at 41.33at the time of writing this, it dropped to the lowest point since July on concerns of OPEC supply and fuel demand. Iraq is saying it may seek a two-month extension to implement cuts, this is likely indicating it won’t be able to reduce output as quickly as mentioned. With rising U.S. currency lending to U.S. oil’s 2.9% fall yesterday but we will see what happens when the China and their demand over the next couple of weeks, may be a larger factor to consider.
August 3 North America Rig Count was 294, today it is 308. August 9 International Rig Count was 743, Baker Hughes announced it will start releasing the updated International Rig Count on the last working day of the first week of every month, current update will not be available until September 4th.
This past month was the first time we have seen an increase in the North America Rig Count in many months showing signs of the market slowly returning.

Connected Community
We issued a press release on August 18th announcing our partnership with Intercontinental Des Services based in Pointe Noire, Republic of Congo and their utilization of our Connected Community concept. Here they will bring thier entire company onboard and Rig Lynx has developed remote training, translated all material into French, setup a 3 month process to fully onboard all employees to the application where they will have a dedicated tool to work as groups or communicate in the field or onshore. Application Updates!
We are currently uploading our beta version of the Rig Lynx application with our new dark mode upgrade and clearing out some other pesky bugs, this update will be coming to you within the next few days or so! We are also working on our hashtag feature where you will be able to search the entire network with just a click on simple function as well as complie all the results of anyone using that hastag, we are super excited about this update.
On paper is a book full of features that we want to impliment but just like the rest of the world we have been impacted by COVID 19 and our development schedule is behind almost 3 months but we are working hard to get back on schedule for all of our loyal app users out there.
