Market
WTI is sitting at $37.71 at the time of writing this, just $1.01 up from where it was from our last newsletter on October 2. It has been a roller coaster this past month, but with the U.S. elections underway it basically looks suspended around this area for the short term after it took an initial drop Thursday morning waiting on election results. With the second wave of Covid making its appearance has basically depressed any price lift. Although market sentiment has it turning the corner next year as OPEC + are discussing extending current cuts and possibly expanding them.
North America Rig Count was 341 on October 2nd, today it is 382, that is a 41 unit jump since our last newsletter, the best movement we have seen since May of 2018.
The International Rig Count was 702 on October 2nd, we are down 45 units worldwide since the September count of 747. Baker Hughes announced it will start releasing the updated International Rig Count on the last working day of the first week of every month, current update will not be available until Friday November 5th.

We have added 133 new members since our last newsletter which brings our current member base up to 4,092 oil and gas professionals, we also added 200 new newsletter subscribers!

Website Direct Advertising
We have rolled out our new website direct advertising that is not powered by anyone except Rig Lynx, not Google Adsense, so you do not have to worry about your screen being bombarded with ads when clicking on our advertisements, you all know what we mean, you are on one site and you click on a wooden rocking chair and then wooden rocking chairs is all you see for the next week until you clear your browser history, well… not here, we pride our process sit keeping things neat and simple, something that much of the world has forgotten.
We are still working out some of the bugs with placement but we are currently test running ads across most of the pages and soon we will be able to run them for anyone that would like to run them at a discounted price, remember we have over 30k people that visit these pages every month that you could get some really good benefit out of having one or two running with us.
Live Career Fair
Something interesting happened this past month, we were given the ability to use the LinkedIn Live feature. We have been hard at work setting our systems up to all go live together and we are going to have our first live event on Thursday November 19.
This will be a Live Career Fair that will stream across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, we will be hosting multiple recruiters from different countries as they let people know which jobs are currently available, where they can be reached and how people can apply to them.

7th Annual Ghana Oil and Gas Awards
