The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has given Neptune Energy Norge consent for exploration drilling in Block 33/6 in the North Sea.
Exploration well 33/6-6 S and 33/6-6 A will be drilled in production license PL 882 to test a prospect named Shamu.
Geographical coordinates are 61° 30' 31. 6586" North 01° 58' 36. 3232 " East. Water depth is 311 meters.
The well is expected to take a minimum of 32 days and will be drilled by the Deepsea Yantai.
