Baker Hughes issued their international rig count data, here is the breakdown:
The international rig count for March is 815, up 2 units from the count in February and up 100 units from the 715 counted in March 2021.
Latin America is up 7 units to 160 from the February count of 153 and is up 35 units year over year.
The Asia-Pacific region is down 3 units to a total of 187 and is up 17 units from its year-ago average of 170.
Africa is up 6 units to a total of 87 from the February count of 81 units and up 28 units from its March 2021 average of 59.
Europe is down 24 units to a total of 78 from the February count of 102 units, and down 22 units year-over-year.
The Middle East is up 16 units to a total of 303 from the February count of 287 units, and up 42 units year-over-year.
