Japan Drilling Co. has announced that its subsidiary company 'Hakuryu 5, Inc.' and its agent in Malaysia, NABA Drilling, have agreed to provide drilling services to PETRONAS Carigali for a semi-submersible drilling rig 'HAKURYU-5' for the drilling contract awarded by PETRONAS to NABA Drilling.
The main terms of the contract are as follows:
1. Operating Area :Offshore Sarawak, Malaysia 2. Period of Contract :Four (4) Firm Wells + Six (6) Optional Wells 3. Estimated Commencement Time :Around Q3 2022
