AkerBP granted new drilling permit using the Scarabeo 8

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted Aker BP a drilling permit for well 25/2-24 S in production licence PL 919.

The well will be drilled at location 59° 53' 17.64'' N  2° 23' 4.22'' E by the Scarabeo 8 semi-sub.

Licensees are: Aker BP 47.7%; Equinor 40%; LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge 12.3%.

Planned spud date is Feb 2023.
