A new joint venture between EnerMech and Oil & Gas Proserv (OGP), an affiliated company of Nobel Energy Group in Azerbaijan, has secured its first two contracts in the region totaling (USD) $3 million.

It is also expected to result in a recruitment drive later this year in line with the organization’s ongoing commitment to local workforce employment and development to help actuate further business growth.

EnerMech is a global integrated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and integrity services specialist, which also has facilities in the Caspian regions of Georgia and Kazakhstan. It has been operating in Azerbaijan for 12 years, steadily building up its presence and investment in employing and developing Azerbaijani nationals.

The new EnerMech OGP partnership will leverage EnerMech’s integrated supply, operations, maintenance and engineering solutions and specialisms alongside OGP’s local expertise, technologies and effective management for delivering enhanced oil recovery.

The first award is a $2 million contract to deliver engineering, lube oil flushing, accumulator charging and N2 He leak testing, to support a significant development which includes a new offshore platform and facilities designed to process up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day when it comes on-stream next year, and 300 million barrels in its lifetime.

The second is a $1 million campaign to support the development of the Absheron gas-condensate field. Located offshore approx. 100km south of Baku, it is estimated to contain 350 billion cubic meters of gas, along with more than 45 million tons of condensate. The work scope for the partnership includes engineering, flange management, N2 He leak testing, drying and inerting of all topsides piping and vessels for this project.

Valaris Limited announced that it has sold heavy duty modern jackups VALARIS 113 and 114 to ADES Saudi Limited for a total of $125 million. VALARIS 113 and 114 are PPL Pacific Class 400 jackups, both delivered in 2012. Both rigs have been stacked in the Philippines since they completed their last contracts in late 2015.   President and Chief Executive Officer Anton Dibowitz said, “We are pleased to have closed the sale of the VALARIS 113 and 114 at values which are highly accretive to our shareholders. Each rig had been stacked for more than six years and would have required meaningful capital to reactivate. We will continue to take a rational approach to fleet management, including regularly assessing our fleet for retirement and divestiture candidates."   Source: Valaris   Join our mailing list here We are #1 on Google and Bing for the "Largest Mobile Energy Network" Come join our community!
