Gabon’s Minister of Petroleum, Gas and Mining, H.E. Vincent de Paul Massassa, announced the extended closing date for the Gabon 12th Shallow and Deep-Water Licensing Round.
The new closing date for the submission of tenders is June 30, 2021.
PGS screening datasets allow the evaluation of all 35 open blocks in the ongoing Gabon shallow and deep-water licensing round. Packages covering north and south areas include 2D and 3D seismic. Well data is also available, for assessment of prospectivity and plays. The acreage on offer includes 12 shallow water and 23 deep-water blocks. An extension to the tender submission deadline provides an opportunity to integrate new data into evaluations of open blocks.
