Baker Hughes issued their international rig count data, here is the break down:
The international rig count for August was 1,138, down 24 from the 1,162 counted in July and up 130 from the 1008 counted in August 2018.
Latin America is up 7 units from the previous month to 194 and is up 2 units year-over-year.
The Asia-Pacific region is down 6 units during the month to 220, and down 5 units from its year-ago average of 225.
Africa is up 4 units to 115 and up 11 units from its August 2018 average of 104.
Europe is up 7 units to reach 193 in August, and up 108 units year-over-year.
The Middle East is down 8 units month-over-month at 416, and up 14 units from its August 2018 average of 402.
