Baker Hughes issued their international rig count data, here is the break down:
The international rig count for February was 1,085, up 7 units from the count in January and up 58 from the 1027 counted in February 2019.
Latin America is up 5 units to 184 from January’s count of 179 units and is down 2 units year-over-year.
The Asia-Pacific region is up 2 units to 224 from January’s count of 222 units and down 16 units from its year-ago average of 240.
Africa is up 6 units from January’s count of 114 units and up 7 units from its February 2019 average of 113.
Europe is down 3 units from January’s count of 133 units, and up 36 units year-over-year.
The Middle East sits at 427, down 3 units from January’s count of 430, and up 29 units year -over-year.
