Baker Hughes issued their international rig count data yesterday, here is the break down:
The international rig count for April was 1,062, up 23 from the 1,039 counted in March, and up 67 from the 978 counted in April 2018.
Latin America is up 2 units from the previous month to 190 and is down 1 unit year-over-year.
The Asia-Pacific region is up 2 units during the month to 236, and up from its year-ago average of 209.
Africa is down 1 unit to 126 and up from its April 2018 average of 94.
Europe is up 3 units to reach 98 in April, and up 10 units year-over-year.
The Middle East is up 17 units month-over-month at 412, and up from its April 2018 average of 398.
