Market
WTI is sitting at $52.11 at the time of writing this, as we are a bit late sending out the newsletter this month but better late than never. But the WTI is up $7.00 from where it was from our last newsletter on Dec 3rd. The ongoing rhetoric with the U.S. elections, and from our last newsletter until now there have been two OPEC+ meetings, one was late December, and one was early January. The one late December they decided to ramp up production 1.9 million barrels and in early January Saudi Arabia took a voluntary cut of 1 million barrels a day.
North America Rig Count was 425 on December 4th, today it is 534, that is a 109 unit jump since our last newsletter. Most of this increase has been in Canada for the most part, we hope that everyone gets back to work but these companies show some production restraint during these times that OPEC+ are slowing production, we DO NOT want to have another production war in the middle of a pandemic.
The International Rig Count was 669 on December 11th, today it is 665, we are down 4 units worldwide.

A Look Back at the Top 10 Articles for 2020
2020 has been a difficult year personally and professionally for many in the industry but we are optimistic going into 2021 as the world comes to grips with COVID-19 and continues to put in place plans and procedures around the world. The airline industry is slowly returning to life, companies are consolidating to create a stronger ecosystem to remain cash positive and there is one thing that will never change, the world is not getting any smaller and the need for what we do increases each day as the resources are used up.
Overtime and West Africa Weekly
We kicked off 2021 with a new live series with Arvy Nahar called West Africa Weekly, it is now passed its 2nd episode and we are getting really good feedback on it. As we spoke about in our last newsletter, Ryan Ray and I started Overtime, where we basically run through just about everything we can for a full week over each episode, we are now passed episode 7. You can catch the lives on Facebook, YouTube, Periscope, LinkedIn and right on our homepage.

First newsletter of 2021, it's hard to stay focused with everything that is changing around the world, especially when you toss COVID19 in the mix.
The vaccines are being disturbed around the world, even as I type this today, other countries are going back into lockdown, UK, South Africa and more.
Be optimistic, do not let the media frighten you, keep your head up, keep your boots on the ground and keep moving.
