JDC inks 3 year deal for HAKURYU 10

Japan Drilling Co., Ltd. (JDC) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Japan Drilling (Netherlands) B.V. has entered into a drilling contract with North Oil Company for the provision of jack-up drilling rig "HAKURYU-10".

The main terms of the drilling contract are as follows:

  • Company: North Oil Company
  • Operating Area: Al Shaheen Oilfield, offshore Qatar
  • Period of Contract: Three (3) years firm plus two (2) x one (1) year options
  • Estimated Commencement Time: 2Q 2022
  • Contract Type: Day Rate Contract
  • Contract Signing Date: June 15, 2022
