OneSubsea has signed a contract with Petrobras to provide a range of subsea services for the fields off the coast of Brazil. This will include inspection, maintenance, repairs, upgrades and parts supply, as well as installation and commissioning services.
Signed in October, the contract is worth more than U$200 million, equivalent to almost R$1.2 billion. The agreement includes a market differential by supporting the subsea processing scope through real-time monitoring capabilities of the processing systems operated by Petrobras.

The contract will be executed from OneSubsea's Subsea Services Center of Excellence located in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro. It will provide operational fronts consisting of onshore and offshore tools and technical assistance services for the installation, commissioning, and workover of subsea equipment and equipment maintenance. It also includes Upgrade Engineering services, Subsea Control Systems, and Monitoring (FRIEND). The partnership is valid for three years, with an option to extend it for a further two years.
Petrobras has a substantial portfolio of operated oil and gas fields in Brazil, including deepwater and pre-salt fields. OneSubsea has extensive experience in subsea system installation in Brazil, having operated more than 500 ANMs (Christmas trees) in the country over the past 20 years.
