For the last week of the 2018 we find Transocean sliding into the #1 spot with the announcement of that 20k beast in conjunction with Chevron! The low oil prices are coming in behind that with some questions and uncertainty about being in the $40 range for long periods of time. DSME and Sonangol finally come to an agreement for the new drillships that have been in limbo. Venezuela slides into Guyana territory and meets one of Exxon’s seismic vessels and in the final spot for this week is Seadrill, other than bankruptcies we haven’t heard much from them in a while but seems they have landed a contract for the West Castor for some work in Suriname!
