According to Esgian, an Oslo based company that provides analytical tools for the energy industry, noted that PV Drilling has secured a new two-well contract for jackup PV Drilling I with Vietsovpetro. The operator's drilling program will start from mid-September 2021 at Block 09-1, covering 2 firm wells and 1 optional well repair.
The rig is currently working for Cuu Long JOC at Block 15-1, off the coast of Vietnam and will pass to Vietsovpetro in direct continuation of this campaign.
Meanwhile, PV Drilling says is also about to secure a new deal with an undisclosed operator offshore Vietnam for jackup PV Drilling VI, which will start in the middle of this month.
