Valaris's drillship the Relentless is preparing for its upcoming contract with Chevron that is expected to begin in September.
The rig is stationed off Pascagoula, Mississippi while it is undergoing routine maintenance. Earlier this year, the 2015-delivered unit completed its first five-year special periodic survey. Chevron is expected to resume work at Kingsholm in Garden Banks Block 913.
Chevron had been working at this location with drillship Pacific Sharav shortly before releasing this rig in early April.
