Transocean issues fleet status update, sitting with $7.4 billion backlog
Transocean Ltd. issued their quarterly Fleet Status Report and contract information for the company’s fleet of offshore drilling rigs. As of April 28, the company’s total backlog is approximately $7.4 billion.
ADES secures contract renewals for seven rigs in KSA
Four of the rigs have a 10-year firm tenor, two rigs have a five-year firm tenor and one rig with a three-year firm tenor. The total backlog is estimated at c.US$ 950 million with daily rates being broadly similar to current contracts.
Valaris lands 400 day deal for JU-249 offshore New Zealand
OMV has awarded an approximate 400-day deal for the provision of jackup Valaris JU-249 (ex-Rowan Gorilla VII) to work offshore New Zealand, commencing in early 2022.
