Seadrill grabs work with Petronas for the West Capella

London, United Kingdom, November 27, 2018 – Seadrill Partners LLC (“SDLP†or “the Companyâ€) has secured a one well contract with two options with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd., for the West Capella in Malaysia. Backlog for the firm portion of the contract is expected to be approximately $11 million and commencement is expected in Q3 2019.Â

Currently the rig is working with a Shell subsidiary offshore Malaysia on a previous 5 well contract.
