(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Seadrill Partners LLC (“SDLP†or “the Companyâ€) has secured a six well contract with three option wells for the West Vencedor offshore Cote d’Ivoire.
Backlog for the firm portion of the contract is expected to be approximately $20 million with commencement expected in Q3 2019 and running through Q2 2020.
The West Vencedor is a 2009 model TAD that was constructed at Keppel FELS, Singapore and was named by the spouse of Alireza Moshiri, President of Chevron West Africa and Latin America.
It went on to operate for Chevron in Angola for the following 5 years, according to Seadrill’s current fleet status report it is currently working in Myanmar for Petronas and is due to finish up in May 2019.
