According to Esgian, an Oslo based company that provides analytical tools for the energy industry, noted that court documents show that Seadrill has sold its 2009-built jackup West Freedom to New Fortress Energy for $5 million for conversion for its LNG project. The rig has not worked in several years and is currently stacked in Colombia.
