Valaris fleet status update is out, multiple contracts awarded

Valaris just published a fleet status update and below are the highlights that have not been previously announced:

Floaters

VALARIS MS-1 awarded a five-well contract with an undisclosed operator offshore Australia. The contract is expected to commence in the second half 2023 with an estimated duration of 300 days. The contract is subject to final investment decision (FID) by the customer.

VALARIS DPS-5 awarded a one-well contract with Apache in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The contract is expected to commence in June 2022 with an estimated duration of 25 days.

VALARIS DPS-1 contract with Woodside Energy offshore Australia extended due to the exercise of a one-well option with an estimated duration of 60 days.

Jackups

VALARIS 140 awarded a three-year bareboat charter agreement with ARO Drilling that is expected to commence in March 2022.

VALARIS 118 awarded a four-well contract with BP offshore Trinidad. The contract is expected to commence in the second half 2022 with an estimated duration of 270 days.

VALARIS Norway awarded a 114-day contract with BP in the UK North Sea. The contract is expected to commence in the second quarter 2022.

VALARIS 122 contract with Shell in the UK North Sea extended due to the exercise of a one-well option with an estimated duration of 97 days.

VALARIS Viking awarded a one-well contract with Sval Energi offshore Norway. The contract is expected to commence in March 2022 with an estimated duration of 66 days.

VALARIS 37 has been sold and retired from the offshore drilling fleet
