
There are methods out there that speak about two boxes, 1 of those boxes are full of things that you have control over such as what you say, what you do, your facial reactions, how deeply you love etc, the other box is full of things that you cannot control like the weather, taxes, other people's actions or saying etc. When you come upon an item you cannot control you need to put it in the box and isolate it from your thoughts and only concentrate on the things you have control over.
