Welcome back to the weekly rundown where we show you all the hottest posts from the week here at Rig Lynx.

This week we had Seadrill joining up with Sonangol to form Sonadrill, which will be 2 of Seadrill’s ships and 2 of Sonangol’s ship for a term of 5 years in Angola, sounds like a killer deal and puts some much needed utilization back into the mix for deepwater. In the 2nd spot we have a bit of history about the first well drilled on a far away planet, Mars, coming in at number 3 we have that crazy car wash crap again with 4 rigs coming up on the market for sale, behind that in the 4th spot we see Maersk landing a gig for the developer down in Mexico, also another home run for the floaters here, in the last position a topic that sucks but is happening more often.

Overall we are proud to see those rigs going back to work and those teams getting busy, good luck to all that landed contracts this week!
