The newly leased drillship Samsung Santorini, due to join the fleet in November 2021, has been awarded a contract with Eni for work in the US Gulf of Mexico, beginning in early 2022 and running until Q3 2023.

Transocean Ltd. announced that BOE Exploration & Production LLC (“BOE”) awarded Transocean a $252 million firm contract for its newbuild ultra-deepwater drillship, the Deepwater Atlas, including a mobilization fee of $30 million.
