Having reached the end of its work in the West White Rose oilfield, the Henry Goodrich is on its way back to Bull Arm.
Operated by Transocean, the semi-submersible rig reached the end of its two-year contract with Husky last week.
Work was initially expected to conclude in November, but some delays carried its end date into the new year.
Led by the Maersk Mobiliser and Atlantic Kingfisher, the rig is making its way back to the Bull Arm site where it will await its next steps.
There is some uncertainty over the rig’s fate, however there is no confirmation on what will come next for the Henry Goodrich.
Transocean says the quarterly update on its fleet is due to be released next month.
