Equinor granted new exploration license in North Sea

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has given Equinor consent for exploration drilling in Block 34/4 in the North Sea. Well 34/4-17 S will be drilled from the Deepsea Stavanger drilling facility at position 61° 34' 45.52" N 02° 09' 51.92" E in production license PL 057 and will test the Statfjord kile exploration prospect.
