Transocean inks work for ex-Ocean Rig vessels Corcovado and Mykonos

Transocean Ltd. announced today that Petrobras awarded two of the Company’s ultra-deepwater drillships, the Ocean Rig Corcovado and Ocean Rig Mykonos, with a 629 day contract and 550 day contract, respectively. Bristow helo goes down in GOM, 1 missing and 1 killed

One person was killed and another is missing after a helicopter operating between Galliano and Venice crashed into the Gulf of Mexico Sunday, authorities said.
