For this past week we saw a good week for the contractors, it was basically the week for jackups, 3 of them pull in long term contracts, Gulf lands some work for two of their jackups, Big D is reactivating the Onyx after a cold stack period, Rowan Viking continues to work up in the harsh weather with landing 7 wells with Lundin and COSL will be moving the Innovator into Ireland pretty soon!

Oil Prices
At the time of writing this, it is 16:00 CST
WTI is at 54.83, that is down .78% since opening this morning, Brent is at 62.69, that is also down .10% since opening, natural gas is at 2.662 which is down 2.63% since opening. Come on oil prices, make that swing back and get to climbing!!!
Rig Count
From our friends over at Baker, U.S. rig count is down 14 for a total of 1,045 and Canada is up again for the second week with 11 for a total of 243!
